Google Keep reminders now sync directly with Tasks and Calendar
Google has officially launched an update integrating its Keep note-taking application with Google Tasks. The change, which automatically saves reminders created in Keep to Tasks, enables users to access them across multiple Google services, including Calendar and Gemini.
The company first announced this integration in April 2024, outlining a planned rollout that would span the next year. According to a new company blog post, that update is now actively being deployed to users. This finalizes the plan to centralize reminders within the Google ecosystem.
With this functionality, reminders set within Google Keep, which can be time-based or location-based, are now stored directly in Google Tasks. This allows them to be viewed and managed from other applications. Specifically, users can see their Keep reminders within the Google Calendar interface and the standalone Tasks app. The integration also extends to the Gemini app, where users can ask the AI about their scheduled reminders.
The feature is being made available to all user types. This includes both Google Workspace customers who use the services for business or organizational purposes, as well as individuals who hold personal Google accounts for private use.
