Visa and Paythru Team on EV Payments With White-Label Fleet Wallet

DATE POSTED:March 19, 2026

Paythru, a payments orchestration platform focused on electric vehicles (EVs), has partnered with Visa to create a white-label fleet wallet for EV charging payments.

The fleet wallet is designed for fleet operators and mobility platforms, Paythru said in a press release.

The wallet lets fleet drivers charge at any EV charging point; make other mobility payments defined by their employer, including parking or toll payments; and pay via card or app, according to the release.

Because of Paythru’s partnership with Visa, the wallet allows drivers to pay at any charging point that accepts Visa cards, the release said.

The wallet lets fleet operators control what drivers can pay for and view all payment data in one place. It also helps reduce costs through consolidated billing and settlement as well as insights that can help fleet operators optimize charging behavior, negotiate better rates and refine fleet policies, per the release.

Paythru’s app can also highlight preferred chargers, discounted locations or company policies, while still allowing drivers to use other alternatives when needed, according to the release.

The fleet wallet’s white-label platform enables it to be embedded into any fleet operator’s existing IT system and allows its front-end app and back-end data interface to be branded for each operator, per the release.

“As EV charging becomes central to fleet operations, payments move from being a back-office function to a strategic capability,” Paythru Founder and CEO Keith Brown said in the release. “This partnership equips fleet operators with the infrastructure to offer charging as part of their mobility service, under their own brand, without the complexities or constraints of traditional payment systems.”

Richard Campion, head of fleet and mobility, Visa Europe, said in the release that this fleet wallet provides flexibility by working wherever Visa cards are accepted.

“Together, with solutions such as Visa-enabled fleet 2.0 payment cards, we’re removing the friction of closed-loop systems and helping fleets transition to electric with confidence,” Campion said.

The Visa Fleet 2.0 program provides a payment card that can be used for all mobility spend, including both fuel and non-fuel purchases, and can be used anywhere Visa is accepted, globally, Visa said in a September article.

The PYMNTS Intelligence and Visa collaboration “2023-2024 Growth Corporates Working Capital Index: Fleet and Mobility Edition” found that fleet and mobility firms in the Central Europe, Middle East and Africa (CEMEA) region and North America are adopting virtual cards at notable rates.
