Is Satisfactory on Xbox, PlayStation, or Game Pass?
Satisfactory has been cooking away nicely in Early Access since, incredibly, 2019, but recently got its 1.0 release and has proven to be hugely popular with PC players.
Here at Readwrite Gaming, we think Satisfactory is one of the most engaging games we have played in many, many years if you like the survival base and factory-building vibe. If you are just jumping in you are the best part of half a decade behind the game’s best players but worry not about that, and if you are keen to see if you can play this amazing experience on console, then you are also in the correct place.
Throughout the Early Access period, the devs at Coffee Stain were always very vague about whether the game would make it onto other platforms but things are a little clearer more recently.
Is Satisfactory on Xbox or PlayStation?The short answer is no, it isn’t but it’s not as simple as that because it looks as though console players are going to be able to join in before too long. Of course for a game that spent five years in Early Access, when the devs say it will appear on console “soon” is not necessarily definitive shall we say, but at least we know that plans are in place to bring it to Xbox and PlayStation, and it’s a safe bet that the game will be a huge hit when it does arrive. What’s to lose?
The issue will be how the complex mouse and keyboard control system can be adapted to play on a controller as seamlessly as it behaves on a PC. These guys are perfectionists it seems though, so that is a good sign that when it does arrive, it will be as simple to pick up as the PC version.
Is Satisfactory on Game Pass?Obviously, it isn’t there yet as we are still awaiting the Xbox version and there has been no mention of it coming to Game Pass when it does arrive. We would love to see it there however as it is the kind of game many people will pick up and play to try out and get hooked on.
If you have a PC and haven’t played Satisfactory yet, that is, as they say, very unsatisfactory.
