Update: Apple and Google have restored TikTok to their respective app stores in the US. You can now download TikTok for iOS and TikTok for Android once again through the platformsâ native stores.
The ban on TikTok technically remains in effect, however President Trump has ordered his administration not to enforce it for 75 days, starting January 20th. That means Apple and Google could be required to pull the apps once again if the administration begins to enforce the law and TikTok hasnât met the terms to avoid a ban.

TikTokâs app is still working for people in the US â as long as itâs already on their phone. While the service quickly returned after the brief shutdown in January, the app itself is no longer available on either Appleâs App Store or Googleâs Play Store. That means that if you removed the app, never had it downloaded in the first place, or are setting up a new phone from scratch, youâll have to jump through some hoops to get access.
