Black Myth: Wukong is one of those games that you could probably play throughout the night, disregarding the amount of sleep you’re losing.
As you’re progressing, you’ll soon realize that there are ‘chapters’ to the experience, marking significant points.
But how many chapters are there in Black Myth: Wukong? We reveal what you need to know so you’re aware of how far into the adventure you are.
How many chapters are there in Black Myth Wukong? There are a total of six chapters in Black Myth: Wukong which doesn’t seem much on the face of it, but each are relatively long.
These chapters consist of a bunch of different vistas and exploration so even though it isn’t technically an open world game, each of the chapters has areas within.
There are also a plethora of different bosses in each chapter, whether that’s main or secret, so you could be on certain chapters for some time.
As for why the ‘chapters’ terminology is used for Black Myth: Wukong, this is due to the game essentially being an adaptation of the famous Journey to the West novel, published way back in the 16th century.
It has since been translated from the native Chinese to English in 1942 under the name Monkey, which you may have heard it called by instead.
Granted, the game chapters don’t marry up with the figure of that in the book, but it gives you a bit of crossover between the two mediums.
They also relate to the six hidden relics that the introduction to the game alludes to, so it’s not just a random number the devs have plucked out of thin air.
