The first patch for the excellent remaster of Horizon Zero Dawn for the PC has arrived and addressed a couple of really annoying issues – such as the cut-scene volume being waaaay different from the gameplay, leading to constantly needing to turn your speakers / headphones up and down. That’s all sorted now thankfully.
Also sorted are some issues people with ultrwide displays have been having as well as some issues with Steam Input, a;though these are not yet totally ironed out and are currently more of a workaround than a permafix.

* We are aware of players reporting issues when using controllers with Steam Input enabled. This update contains improvements, and the team is working on additional updates to fully address the reported issues. As a workaround, while we work on updates, we recommend disabling Steam Input when using supported controllers.
