The time is fast approaching for the release of Diablo IV’s first expansion which will push the game further than ever before. We will get getting a new class and a lot more lore added to the mix in this full expansion for the game that is now approaching 18 months and has settled down immeasurably since its launch in the middle of 2023.
After season after season of new battle-pass style content, Vessel of Hatred will mix things up a bit with the Spiritborn class as you try to track down Neyrelle (voiced by Judy Alice Lee), who you may remember disappeared off in the middle of the original launch campaign.
When is Vessel of Hatred released? The Vessel of Hared expansion for Diablo IV will release either October 7th or October 8th depending on your location on the planet. Time zones eh? The table below will give you an idea of when you can expect it. Just locate your nearest city and work it from there.
City Launch Time Auckland October 8, 12 PM NZDT Berlin October 8, 1 AM CEST Irvine October 7, 4 PM PDT Istanbul October 8, 2 AM TRT London October 8, 12 AM BST New York October 7, 7 PM EDT São Paulo October 7, 8 PM BRT Seoul October 8, 8 AM KST Sydney October 8, 10 AM AEDTAlongside the new Spiritborn class the Vessel of Hatred expansion will bring a new expansion-only area of the jungles of Nahantu where you will find a number of tribes to interact with. The expansion does continue the main campaign, so you will want to make sure you have finished off all the remaining aspects of that first as Vessels of Hatred is not cheap but for keen Diablo IV players, the promise of a new campaign, a new class and a new area will more than justify it after playing the same things over and over again for months.
Blizzard has a handy guide running you through everything you may want to know before picking up Vessel of Hatred and it is well worth a read.
