The hype for Delta Force: Hawk Ops is certainly growing as many are getting hands-on with the Alpha Test.
However, this is a PC-only affair, with console players sadly being side-lined for now which is pretty unfortunate.
Below, we’ll reveal if Delta Force: Hawk Ops will have a console release so you PlayStation and Xbox gamers have a definitive answer on whether you’ll be able to play it or not.
Is Delta Force: Hawk Ops on PlayStation and Xbox? The short answer is yes, Delta Force: Hawk Ops will be coming to consoles as well as PC once the game launches in a full 1.0 state.
However, for which consoles gets a little confusing as not all of the usual suspects are included.
According to the official Delta Force: Hawk Ops website, it will release on PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S and not Xbox One.
This is a little odd considering that PS4 makes the cut and Xbox One doesn’t but at least if you own one of the newer gen Xbox consoles, you’ll still be able to get in on the action.
It shouldn’t really be down to the power of the Xbox One though seeing as Delta Force: Hawk Ops will also be available on mobile, so it must be a completely separate issue that hasn’t been stated publicly.
As of right now though, it also appears that PC will be the only platform that you’ll be able to play on in the ‘tests’ prior to launch.
So, if you are looking to play on your console, you’ll have to wait for either the full release, or if a console Beta gets announced out of the blue.
If this does happen, we’ll be sure to update you eager console gamers with any new platform information!
In the meantime, you can let the devs know of your interest by registering and you’ll receive some pre-registration rewards in the process.
