After a stellar end to last year, Microsoft’s gaming subscription service Game Pass received a bit of a panning in January for being less than worthwhile in its additions. However, since the end of January, we have got Sniper Elite: Resistance and Citizen Sleeper 2, plus yesterday’s arrival of Avowed, alongside plenty of other great older titles.
And it is slightly older titles where we are today, but the addition of these three games is big news because there is some decent stuff heading our way.
What’s been added to Game Pass in February 2025?We are going to start off with Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader – the first CRPG set in Games Workshop’s titular universe. This is a really good RPG that will keep you enthralled for a good while if you get into it, so to see it arrive as part of the subscription (both Ultimate and Standard) is great news for fans of the genre.
At the time of writing it unlocks in just under eight hours (midnight GMT) so not long to wait if you have always fancied it, but never bitten the bullet.
Taking a completely different track we have the arrival on the 20th February of EA and Codemasters’ F1 24, which captivated a lot of race game fans in the middle of last year. Again it is coming to Ultimate and Standard as part of EA Play so everybody can join in the action.
Then complete the trio of new announcements on February 25th, you get to go all hacker and play Watch Dogs: Legion, Ubisoft’s open-world which will be available on all tiers.
What’s leaving this monthThe last day of the month sees quite a few departures. Here’s a list so you can get your last few hours play in before they vanish into the ether.
