We may have had the recent confirmation of ARMA 4 from Bohemia Interactive, but as we found at the time, it’s still several light years away from being ready. So who’s ready for some new ARMA 3 stuff then?
(Probably) the world’s best-loved milsim has been around for a long time now, but this latest DLC – called Creator DLC because it comes from a third-party creator but is actually published by Bohemia – brings the game firmly back into the spotlight.
Tiny Gecko Studios is the team responsible for this latest DLC pack and they say that Expeditionary Forces allows you to “Prepare your Marines for action on the Amphibious Warfare Ship, assault enemy shores with AAV-9 Mack IFVs and Combat Boats, bring supplies ashore with the LCC-1 Landing Craft, perform raids behind enemy lines with new Hunter reconnaissance vehicles, and take part in the invasion of Altis from a new perspective.”
So if you have been looking for something new to freshen up your ARMA III experiences before 2027’s fourth installment arrives, it’s time to get busy with some Marines.
Steam reviews are only just starting to come in but so far things look positive with initial comments including things like:
“Fair pricing, good content for both multiplayer fans and single-player fans.”
“Absolutely amazing CDLC, I love everything it adds. With its content, it greatly expands the amphibious warfare aspect of the game. Allowing you to transport tanks and all of those heavy things across the water as well as adding more boat variety.”
ARMA III Expeditionary Forces includes:Arma 3 Creator DLC: Expeditionary Forces is available now on Steam for $7.99 USD (€7.99EUR / £6.99 GBP).
