Thinking Machines Leaders Confronted CTO Over Office Relationship Before Firing

Mira Murati, the chief executive of Thinking Machines Lab, told employees during a Wednesday allhands that the startup’s cofounder and then-CTO Barret Zoph lied about his relationship with another person leading up to his firing, according to a person with direct knowledge of the comments.
