Samsung is bringing real-time visual AI conversations to Galaxy users with the Gemini Live update, starting April 7. This new feature will be available free of charge, beginning with the Galaxy S25 series.
Gemini Live offers AI-powered assistance for more natural conversational interactions to simplify everyday tasks. Users can activate the feature by pressing and holding the side button, allowing Gemini Live to see what they see and engage in live conversation.
The new visual capabilities make everyday decisions easier. For example, users can point their camera to get suggestions on how to categorize items and optimize space, or share their screen while browsing online retailers for personalized style advice.
“Together with Google, we are marking a bold step toward the future of mobile AI, delivering smarter interactions that are deeply in sync with how we live, work and communicate,” said Jay Kim, Executive Vice President and Head of Customer Experience Office, Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics. He added that the Galaxy S25 series sets new standards for user engagement through their devices.
Gemini Live, including camera and screen sharing capabilities, will be accessible to all Galaxy S25 series users without any additional cost starting April 7.
