Samsung will host its Galaxy Unpacked event on February 25 in San Francisco. The event is anticipated to feature the launch of the Galaxy S26 series of smartphones.
AI features are expected to be a primary focus. Samsung stated the phones are designed to “simplify everyday interactions, inspire confidence and make Galaxy AI feel seamlessly integrated from the moment it’s in hand.”
A new privacy display feature is teased for the Galaxy S26 Ultra. This feature will enable users to conceal specific areas of the phone’s screen from others, protecting sensitive information such as the notification area.
In the U.S. and China, the top model in the series is expected to utilize Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Elite Gen 5 processor. Other regions will likely receive models featuring Samsung’s Exynos 2600 processor. Historically, Snapdragon processors have shown better performance and thermal efficiency compared to Exynos chips, but this performance difference has been decreasing.
According to SamMobile, the S26 will include a 5,100 mAh battery. It will support 60W wired charging and 25W wireless charging.
Samsung is also expected to release updated Galaxy Buds 4 wireless earbuds, featuring a redesigned exterior from the previous generation.
The event begins at 10 AM PT, 1 PM ET, and 7 PM CET. It will be streamed live on Samsung’s website and YouTube channel.
Samsung is offering a $30 promotional credit for pre-registering interest in its upcoming devices. This credit can be used as a discount on other Samsung products, even without purchasing new devices. Pre-ordering a device after pre-registering increases this credit to $150, with no trade-in required.
