Pokemon TCG Pocket Blastoise Wonder Pick Event Part 2 explained
As expected, there has been a follow up to the Pokemon TCG Pocket Blastoise Wonder Pick Event Part 1 that mistakenly went live a little earlier than expected.
This new variant is the aptly named Part 2 and follows a similar pattern to that of all the Wonder Pick events that have preceded it.
Here, we’ll take a deep look at the Blastoise Wonder Pick Event Part 2, showcasing the associated missions and what items can be added to your collection for partaking in it.
Pokemon TCG Pocket Blastoise Wonder Pick Event Part 2: Everything you need to knowIf you’re a fan of the Kanto starter evolutions, the recent Pokemon TCG Pocket content has been right up your alley.
We’ve had the Venusaur Drop Event, Charizard items in the Premium Shop, and now Blastoise has entered the fray.
This one began on January 7, 10 PM PST and is available until January 21, 9:59 PM PST, giving you two weeks to get everything on offer.
As previously mentioned, this latest Event utilizes similar mechanics to those that have come before it so if you were playing the game for those, you’ll have an idea of what this entails.
Looking first at the missions, there are 10 in total, requiring you to complete various tasks, and rewarding you with the Event ‘currency’ of Event Shop Tickets (Blastoise)
Here is a complete list of those missions so you know what to do:
- Wonder Pick 1 time – 1 Event Shop Ticket (Blastoise)
- Wonder Pick 2 times – 1 Event Shop Ticket (Blastoise)
- Wonder Pick 3 times – 1 Event Shop Ticket (Blastoise)
- Wonder Pick 4 times – 2 Event Shop Tickets (Blastoise)
- Wonder Pick 5 times – 2 Event Shop Tickets (Blastoise)
- Wonder Pick 6 times – 3 Event Shop Tickets (Blastoise)
- Collect 5 Fire type cards – 3 Event Shop Tickets (Blastoise)
- Collect 5 Water type cards – 3 Event Shop Tickets (Blastoise)
- Collect 10 Fire type cards – 3 Event Shop Tickets (Blastoise)
- Collect 10 Water type cards – 3 Event Shop Tickets (Blastoise)
As you’re collecting Event Shop Tickets, you’ll be able to spend these on the themed items associated with this Event.
As you’d expect, these are Blastoise themed with a sprinkle of Blue in there since it is his star Pokemon.

- Blastoise card sleeve – 5 Event Shop Tickets
- Blue & Blastoise playmat – 10 Event Shop Tickets
- Blastoise Pokemon coin – 5 Event Shop Tickets
- Blastoise Icon – 2 Event Shop Tickets
- Shinedust x50 – 1 Event Shop Tickets (Can be redeemed 20 times)
If you want all of the Blastoise items, it’ll set you back 22 Event Shop Tickets so you better get to Wonder Picking so you can secure them all before they expire!
