Google released a teaser video for the official Pixel 10a mid-range smartphone on Wednesday, depicting the device dancing across colorful backgrounds. Pre-orders open on February 18.
Engadget, which has tested and reviewed consumer technology products since 2004, examined the video. It displays a blue Pixel 10a model that appears virtually indistinguishable from the Pixel 9a in external design. Google provided no technical specifications in the announcement.
Alleged leaks describe internal components with few alterations from prior models. These unconfirmed reports list a 6.285-inch display, dual rear camera setup with a 48 MP wide-angle lens and a 13 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5,100 mAh battery capacity.
The video includes the tagline: “A phone with more in store, in store soon.” This phrasing accompanies the footage of the phone moving through vibrant settings. Google directs interested parties to its Pixel website for registration to receive additional details.
