A Morris County resident in New Jersey has won a six-figure Jersey Cash 5 jackpot, becoming the 25th winner this year.
The New Jersey Lottery shares that one resident from Morris County matched all five numbers in the Jersey Cash 5 lottery on Sunday, May 18. The winning combination was 15, 26, 30, 34, and 42, while the XTRA number drawn was 03, and the Bullseye number was 26.
19 other players matched four numbers and the Bullseye, winning them $500 each, and another won $1000 by adding the XTRA to that line-up. Although the jackpot winner is confirmed, the identity of the winner has not yet been revealed to the public.
So far this year, there have been 24 other winners. The largest jackpot so far in New Jersey in 2025 was a $32 million Pick-6 prize, sold at Quick Mart in Jackson, Ocean County, on January 21, resulting in an estimated $14.4 million cash prize.
The largest lottery prize ever won in New Jersey was in 2025, resulting in a $1.13 billion Mega Millions jackpot.
The lottery in New JerseyThe New Jersey lottery is run directly by the state of New Jersey, with various in-house draw games like Pick-3, Pick-4, Jersey Cash 5 (the same game that the recent jackpot winner played), Pick-6, Quick Draw, and Cash Pop. There are also multi-state draw games, such as Cash4Life, Mega Millions, and Powerball. Additionally, the Lottery sells Fast Play and scratch-off tickets.
The lotteries are drawn twice a day, seven days a week, via the New Jersey Network (NJN) broadcast. Every Tuesday and Friday also sees the draws of the Mega Millions drawings, while the Powerball drawings take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
The New Jersey Lottery started something of a new trend in state lotteries, kicking off a trend of streaming its drawings online, the first US state to do so on July 1, 2011. You can still watch the drawings online via the Lottery’s website or its Ustream channel.
This comes after New Jersey saw gambling revenue rise in April, despite statewide pushes to limit gambling ads.
