The gaming operator Lottomatica has had a massive year as they’ve reported the company’s total revenue has increased by 23% year-on-year to a huge €2.0bn.
The Italian brand, which is owned by Gruppo Lottomatica SPA, published its full-year accounts on Tuesday (March 4) with expectations having been exceeded with an Adjusted EBITDA of €739m. This figure surpassed the FY2024 guidance of €730m.
The gaming franchise is the largest for the group, accounting for €763.7m in revenue. The company’s sports franchise side also saw growth by 25% to €460.8m.
Online betting volumes were up too, with total betting volumes for the year amounting to €39.2bn.
Lottomatica is a leading gaming operator brand in Italy, the first in the public gaming market authorized by the Customs and Monopoly Agency. It features live casino, poker, slots, lotteries, and betting on a range of sports.

“We exceeded expectations set at the beginning of the year and subsequent upgrades, with revenues of €2,045 million and Adjusted EBITDA of €739 million at normalised payout (€707 million actual), +24% compared to FY 2023.
“We continued to grow both organically and through M&A, with the acquisition of PWO and executing our bolt-on strategy.”
Looking to the future, the objectives for 2025 are “to strengthen our leadership position in all segments through product and technology innovation, further develop the omnichannel model while managing efficiently the retail to online transition that is occurring in the market.
“In light of our strong balance sheet and cash flow generation, we requested the authorization for a buyback in order to have an additional tool readily available for capital returns, which will compete for excess cash with M&A and other capital allocation opportunities, with a view to maximise shareholder returns.”
