Instagram duo finally manage to win fridge by gambling on it

DATE POSTED:May 29, 2025

Last week, we reported on two burgeoning social media gamblers who had come up with a bizarre new challenge. They were going to gamble on a fridge’s built-in screen to buy that fridge.

Now, the Blanco Boys, after two weeks, have managed to secure their new home appliance. That’s right, they won the fridge. However, while it’s incredibly funny and a heartfelt congratulations for beating the system, they did have an additional boost in luck thanks to Memorial Day.

The store that they were gambling in had reduced the price of the fridge from its $3199 price point to $2559.99, making the win that bit easier. While the duo started at $2000 for the day after a spot of cheeky luck during the week, they still needed the 559.99 and a little bit more for taxes.

Again, using Rainbet’s blackjack, they placed a $700 bet and a false start as both the computer and the Blanco Boys hit 17. They then pulled it out of the bag with a $700 win, totalling $2700, and winning the fridge.

What’s next for the Blanco Boys

While the two haven’t updated the account to show the fridge just yet, the ecstatic, but polite, celebration in the store is quite enjoyable as the pair whisper shouts about winning the fridge. In the comments, the top comment said:

“No! I wanted this to keep going! But congrats!”

The Boys replied:

“Don’t worry! If you thought this was crazy, just wait to see what series is next in season 2.”

Others are now pushing them to find another appliance to win, with the only real tease about what it is coming from a joke comment. One user said that the next thing needs to be a house, to which the Blanco Boys replied:

“It’s way bigger than a fridge, I’ll tell you that.”
