Google Wallet and Tasks integrations surface in new Pixel 10 leak
Google Wallet and Google Tasks may integrate with Magic Cue, a feature of the Pixel 10. This potential expansion follows earlier improvements to Magic Cue after its initial launch.
Magic Cue allows users to select applications from which it can draw data for suggested information and actions. Current integrations include Pixel Screenshots, Gmail, Messages, Keep Notes, Contacts, and Calendar.
Telegram user Kieron Quinn identified settings toggles indicating forthcoming options for Google Wallet and Google Tasks within Magic Cue. This suggests an upcoming upgrade to the feature.
Google Wallet integration could provide real-time updates for train statuses, such as “On Time” or “Delayed,” mirroring functionality available for tickets saved in Google Wallet in regions including India (with Indian Railways) and Canada (with Via Rail). While Magic Cue can currently extract train timing data from Gmail, it does not offer real-time updates. This integration could extend to flights, events, passes, and other tickets stored in Google Wallet.
Integration with Google Tasks could enhance productivity features. Google Calendar already incorporates Google Tasks; however, direct access via a dedicated Magic Cue toggle would ensure comprehensive integration.
Google has not announced or deployed these integrations.
