Get Monster Hunter Wilds for free with help from AMD

Tags: mobile new
DATE POSTED:February 26, 2025

Those looking to upgrade their PC or grab a new laptop with AMD’s newly refreshed parts will find themselves with a free copy of Monster Hunter Wilds. Both Radeon graphics cards and Ryzen processors are on the table, but as of right now, doesn’t include the upcoming RX 9070 or 9070 XT cards.

The copy of the game is just the standard edition, but it’s a neat bonus if you’re in the market for new hardware. Monster Hunter Wilds has been well received so far, but it does seem to be pushing the limits of lower-end machines.

AMD will be running the deal until April 26, and Monster Hunter itself launches February 28. Usually, the code will expire a few months after that, if not redeemed.

Two of the chipsets – Ryzen AI Max and Strix Halo – listed to be included in the deal haven’t officially gone on sale as of yet aside from the Asus ROG Z13 Flow.

AMD’s latest and greatest mobile chips have already been tested, however. It has been positioned as a decent alternative to the laptop version of Nvidia’s RTX 4060.
