The crypto market today has been steady with its numbers, registering a slight uptick of 0.47% since the past day, taking the market cap to $3.35 trillion. However, the intraday trading volumes have taken a hit of 1.91% to $198.43 billion. Despite the numbers being weak, the Fear & Greed Index continues to highlight “Extreme Greed”, this shows the bullish sentiments soaring amongst market players. 

After recorrecting to its 24-hour low of $95,788.08, Bitcoin’s price is presently hovering around $98,380.74. Despite the 27.76% drop in intraday trading volume, BTC continues to dominate the space, with a market share of 58.01%. BTC’s price rising back to the $98k level after a pullback shows its resilience in the current market situation.

Ethereum dropped 0.73%, trading at $3,391.32, while Solana and XRP showed diverging paths. Solana fell narrowly by 0.43% to $253.90, while XRP added 0.77% gains, taking its price tag to $1.46 indicating selective investor confidence.

The Sandbox (SAND) emerged as the day’s top performer with a massive 30.41% surge, trading at $0.8067, highlighting the growing interest in metaverse projects. Other top gainers include Sei, up 17.79% to $0.674, and PNUT, which rose 13.35% to $1.34.

However, not all altcoins made it to the limelight. Tezos led the losers with an 11.67% dip, trading at $1.36, followed by Toncoin (-6.90%) and Cosmos (-6.29%), reflecting a mix of profit-taking and broader market hesitation.
