Chime Workplace Integrates With UKG’s Human Resources Platform

DATE POSTED:November 4, 2025

UKG, a platform for human resources, pay and workforce management, added Chime’s financial wellness suite, Chime Workplace, to its UKG Marketplace.

The move makes Chime Workplace available to the 80,000 businesses around the world that use the platform, as the financial wellness suite will integrate with UKG’s Workforce Operating Platform, Chime said in a Tuesday (Nov. 4) press release.

Chime Workplace offers employees no-fee earned wage access together with financial tools like financial education, high-yield savings and credit building, according to the release.

For employers, Chime Workplace provides strong employee adoption and engagement that supports workplace retention and productivity; actionable data insights that measure the efficacy of the program; and a model that is built for compliance with regulatory guidelines, the release said.

Maxwell Group, a developer, owner and manager of senior living care entities, is a UKG customer that adopted Chime Workplace.

“With Chime, we’re able to enhance our overall benefits with meaningful financial tools that meet our team members where they are, giving them access to their pay now, and greater confidence to achieve their future financial goals,” Nerissa Nelson, vice president, human resources at Maxwell Group, said in the release.

In June, when Chime acquired Salt Labs, an enterprise technology company whose flagship product is an employee rewards benefit, the company said it did so to accelerate its growth through the employer channel. Chime said the acquisition would help draw new members to its banking services platform.

In August, human resources and finance provider Workday said it was integrating Chime Workplace into its employee benefits platform, Workday Wellness.

The company said the collaboration would enable Workday customers to enable the benefits offered by Chime Workplace through the Workday Wellness platform, which allows employers to gain insights into the benefits employees want in order to improve their programs and add new offerings.

“Employees today are increasingly looking to their employers for competitive financial wellness benefits,” Cristina Goldt, general manager, HCM, workforce management and payroll at Workday, said at the time in a press release. “Our partnership with Chime makes it easy for Workday customers to provide their workforce with financial wellness tools directly through Workday Wellness.”
