BetMGM secures Las Vegas Aces and WNBA partnerships

DATE POSTED:May 29, 2025

BetMGM has agreed on a partnership with the Las Vegas Aces, representing the leading sports betting operator’s first foray into the world of women’s professional sports.

The operator will become the exclusive casino and sportsbook partner of the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) team, with the deal running through the 2027 season.

Commercial rights within the agreement will see the installation of prominent signage at the Michelob Ultra Arena, located at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, with further sponsorship branding across the Aces’ social media output.

The agreement will also result in incentives for BetMGM users, with courtside access to pre-game shootarounds and VIP game seating up for grabs.

In addition, BetMGM has secured a separate agreement with the WNBA to become an approved gaming partner of the league.

That deal will secure commercial rights for the betting platform across televised games, and in return, the women’s competition will benefit from branding exposure on BetMGM’s digital channels.

There will also be benefits for BetMGM’s VIP users, including ticket offers and exclusive experiences.

The first-ever WNBA online casino game

One particular intriguing and exciting development to come from the partnership will be the launch of a WNBA-branded online slot title, thought to be the first-ever on the market.

The game is expected to be rolled out in states where BetMGM’s sportsbook is live and available, with the slot exclusive to the operator.

“As we enter this era of tremendous growth in women’s sports, BetMGM could not have two better organizations to partner with than the WNBA and the Aces,” opined BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt.

“Not only do the Aces play in our backyard at Mandalay Bay, but they share our commitment to giving back to the community.”

Nikki Fargas, president of the Las Vegas Aces, commented: “The Las Vegas Aces are proud to partner with BetMGM for many reasons, but especially for the support they will provide to The Just One Project (a charitable incentive that donates a meal for every Aces home steal during the 2025 season).

“As one of the best defenses in the league the past few seasons, especially in front of our home fans, and knowing that each steal will help families in need, this gives our team even more incentive to lock down our opponents on the defensive end.”

Lance Evans, senior vice president of sports and sponsorships at MGM Resorts International, added: “Since 2018, the Las Vegas Aces have played a pivotal role in our city’s growth as a global sports and entertainment destination. Together with BetMGM, we look forward to hosting gameday events at Mandalay Bay, as well as our other properties, allowing local and visiting fans to interact with their favorite basketball teams.”
