FC Bayern Munich has unveiled a major new sponsorship deal with online betting and gaming leader Betano, which is part of the wider umbrella of Kaizen Gaming. The agreement spans three seasons, kicking off with the 2025-26 Bundesliga campaign and continuing through to 2027-28.
Known for its wide range of sports betting and online gaming options across a whopping 19 international markets, Betano has previously secured other soccer-related sponsorships, including the UEFA Europa League and Copa América Femenina 2025.
Moreover, Betano has been specifically expanding into the European soccer market through its teams, thanks to previous partnerships with Brøndby IF and even Aston Villa. The announcement of this one with Bayern Munich represents Betano’s most substantial investment in the German market to date.
For Bayern, the partnership adds another high-profile sponsor to its commercial roster and potentially strengthens its presence among dedicated soccer fans.
Michael Diederich, Deputy CEO of FC Bayern, welcomed the deal enthusiastically, stating, “We are delighted to have gained a new partner for FC Bayern in Betano. Betano is one of the global market leaders in its sector, is highly innovative and doesn’t rest on its laurels with what it has already achieved – attributes we also hold dear to ourselves.”
Kaizen Gaming CEO George Daskalakis also expressed excitement about the new alliance, describing it as “an exciting new chapter,” noting that Bayern Munich is “one of the most iconic clubs in world football,” which is a testament to Betano’s growing global stature.
Julio Iglesias, Chief Commercial Officer at Kaizen Gaming, emphasized Germany’s strategic importance, noting, “Germany has always been one of the most important markets for us. Now, we are announcing our biggest partnership in the country and we double down on our commitment to creating innovative, safe and responsible gaming experiences for German fans.”
Currently, Bayern Munich is focused on the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, where they take on the ever-strong Paris Saint-Germain in an eagerly awaited quarter-final matchup.
Lets see if this newly announced partnership is followed by a bit of silverware or whether the German giants crash out in these knockout stages.
