Apple has invited members of the technology press to a “special Apple experience” scheduled for March 4. According to a report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the company plans a “three-day flurry of announcements” leading up to the event. Rather than a single keynote presentation, this rollout will culminate in three simultaneous events held in New York, London, and Shanghai. Attendees at these locations will be offered hands-on time with the company’s forthcoming products, an approach that Daring Fireball’s John Gruber speculated could be “a hands-on thing with in-person demos.”
During this period, Apple is expected to announce at least five new products. The reported lineup includes a low-cost MacBook, the iPhone 17e, an iPad Air equipped with an M4 chip, a new entry-level iPad, and an upgraded MacBook Air. New MacBook Pro models are also listed among the potential releases. Gurman indicated that all of these products are scheduled for a spring launch, though he noted uncertainty regarding the specific announcement timing for each individual device. The staggered, hands-on format suggests a departure from the traditional,集中式 announcement strategy.
