“I don’t know much about it,” says Donald Trump about $TRUMP memecoin

President Donald Trump has spoken out about his $TRUMP memecoin which was launched three days ahead of his inauguration.

It was on Tuesday afternoon (January 21) when the President was speaking to a group of reporters and was asked about his official memecoin which marked the first time he had publicly spoken about it in person.

“I don’t know much about it other than I launched it,” the entrepreneur-turned-politician said.

“I heard it was very successful. I haven’t checked it. Where is it today?” Upon release, the coin soared to a massive $13 billion market cap, making it the fastest-growing memecoin in cryptocurrency history.
