Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass December 2024 offerings we already shaping up to be a bumper month for subscribers with the day-one release of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, but Microsoft has just added two additional games to the service. December is the season of gift-giving after all.
On top of the 11 games announced for December (and two more for early January), Microsoft has announced that December 12 will see two additional games added to Game Pass – Hunt: Showdown 1896 and For The King 2.
Hunt: Showdown 1896 is a brutal first-person player-versus-player extraction shooter that incorporates strong player-versus-environment elements for players to contend with while battling other players. Fend off twisted monsters and other ruthless hunters to recover the bounty and make it out alive, but be careful: don’t let the hunt consume you.
For the King 2 is the follow-up to the indie classic For the King. Battle against the land’s tyrannical queen either alone or in a party of up to four in a turn-based rougelite tabletop-inspired RPG-style game. The game features five short narrative arcs that link into one longer story lasting around 30 hours, as well as an infinite dungeon-crawl mode that invites players to conquer as many floors as they can without dying.
